Charlotte began her career at Sonier & Associés before joining Salans, which later became Dentons. She has spent the early years of her career in restructuring companies in distress, both in the context of amicable resolution and formal liquidation proceedings. After 5 years working in Paris, she expanded her restructuring practice internationally by working for Mills Oakley, an Australian law firm based in Melbourne. Then, Charlotte joined the legal department of an international group based in Singapore to practice corporate law and assist with international cross-border transactions in the APAC area. Since joining Leaf, Charlotte has advised numerous foreign companies in their strategy, phase of establishment in China and in their daily operations or their investments and operations in Asia Pacific. After a few years within the Shanghai office and since January 2020, Charlotte supports European companies in their activities in China and Hong Kong from our Paris office. Throughout her career of more than 10 years in Asia Pacific, Charlotte has developed specific expertise in supporting our clients in corporate law, M&A and Private Equity related transactions and has had extensive experience handling legal aspects of labor relationships and business law operations in China.
